About Jenna Blue
I'm Jenna Blue, the founder of Something Blue, and I'm so excited that you’re visiting my website!
Before anything else, I want to acknowledge that my journey with Something Blue would not have been possible without my unwavering faith in my Lord and Savior. I firmly believe that everything in life happens for a reason. Back in 2015, the idea of starting a wedding planning business seemed like a distant dream. However, an opportunity presented itself, and I grabbed it with both hands. Every single day, I give thanks to the good Lord for the abundance of blessings in my life.
Growing up on a livestock farm in central Indiana shaped who I am today. I now reside in La Porte, Indiana, alongside my husband, our son CJ, and our doggos. We lead fulfilling lives, actively participating in our church and community. My husband, friends, and family are my rock, offering constant support throughout this journey called life. Without them, I wouldn't be here today.
Thank you again for visiting Something Blue Weddings and Events! We look forward to helping you create your dream wedding!
Fun Facts:
I have been in 23 weddings as a bridesmaid, junior bridesmaid, and flower girl… 3 maids/matrons of honor… and 1 wedding as the bride. I guess you could say weddings are kind of my thing (insert emoji wearing cool sunglasses).
I live in a constant state of laughter because my friends and family are entirely too entertaining.
I’m the momma to Isaac Craig Jackson Blue, CJ. He is just as ornery as he looks.
My husband is a NFL owner… along with about 360,760 Green Bay Packers fans.
We love traveling. My sister and I have big goals to hit as many National Parks as we can! Being still and appreciating the natural beauty God’s provided is one of the simple things I’ve come to enjoy.
I am the dog mom of a mini-goldendoodle named Ruby, and a Bernedoodle name Bingo. Even if they have destroyed all of my favorite shoes, I still love coming home to their wagging tails and wiggles.
I will eat my bodyweight in wedding cake, Jelly Bellys, and chips and salsa.
Starbuck’s pink drinks make me feel like Cinderella when her fairy godmother magically turns her rags into a beautiful ball gown.
I find it no coincidence that Jesus’s first miracle was at a wedding.
A note to all my couples, please do not expect me to turn water into wine. I am not Jesus.
I have an unusual amount of pictures with my mouth open like I’m surprised to see a camera. I’m surprised a lot apparently.
I always, always, ALWAYS encourage a first-look picture with the bride and her dad. I lost my dad May 2019 from pancreatic cancer. Every picture with my dad is something I will cherish forever.
2 Timothy 4:17
My favorite part of every wedding is when all the guests rise for the bride to walk down the aisle… gives me chills every time.
